If your goal is to optimize strength — and I’d argue it should be for EVERYONE— traditional strength training with rest between sets is unmatched.

Longer rest periods allow your muscles and nervous system to fully recover, enabling you to produce more force on every set, which is the primary driver of strength gains.

Circuit training keeps your heart rate elevated, but the ongoing fatigue limits how much weight you can use — and without heavy, high‑quality reps, strength development is restricted.

For achieving maximal strength, longer rest of 3-5 minutes between sets remains the most effective approach.

Unfortunately, you might want to think twice before handling paper receipts.

Thermal paper receipts often contain BPA or BPS – chemicals that can absorb through your skin and disrupt hormones.

Even brief contact can lead to exposure, and hand sanitizers or lotions increase the absorption.

Occasional handling is low risk, but frequent exposure (like for retail workers) can add up.

To reduce risk: skip receipts when you can, wash your hands after handling them, just not with hand sanitizer, and opt for digital properties.

Worry often starts when you replay negative interpretations—such as someone’s body language—and spiral into self-critical thoughts.

Instead of remaining trapped in these thoughts and images, mindfulness shifts attention to the body.

By observing physical sensations without judgment, the emotional intensity lessens.

This process interrupts the feedback loop that sustains worry, preventing it from becoming a habitual response.

Mindfulness helps break the habit of worry by bringing awareness to three elements of experience:

• Mental images of the past or future
• Thoughts attached to those images
• Physical sensations of anxiety
