We’re proud to have one of the most tenured teams in the industry. Our success is rooted in our people—a leadership team with a long, shared history of working together and a deep understanding of what it takes to do this well.

Join us in celebrating 38 years!

Each April, we celebrate a dual milestone: our Juniper anniversary and the birthday of the woman who inspired it all!

April 6 marked the birthday of Lynne Katzmann’s grandmother, Oma. A true original, Oma survived two world wars, ran her own business in the 1920s and rode her motorcycle well into her 70s. Lynne chose April 6 to launch a bold new vision of what it means to grow older.

Nearly 40 years later, our veteran leadership team carries Oma’s spirit into everything we do. But what truly sets us apart is the depth of experience we have gained over these 38 years, having navigated an evolving industry and the journey of getting older together.

Our strength lies in our shared history, providing the deep roots for a strong culture and a pioneering spirit to keep pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities.

Our Wellspring Connections and Executive Directors recently participated in Dementia Friends Training, a global initiative designed to transform how we understand and support those living with dementia. By completing this program, our leadership continues to foster a supportive environment where everyone is treated with dignity and compassion. We look forward to applying these meaningful lessons to further strengthen the Juniper Village community.

The spirit of teamwork was on full display at Juniper Village at Washington Square as Wellspring community members graciously filled eggs with treats for our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt. It was heartwarming to see the smiles and feel the joy in the room as everyone worked together to prepare for our festive celebration. We can’t wait for the hunt to begin!

Congratulations to our own Pauline Ricamara and Sonny Marin who completed this culinary masterclass!

A regional cohort of Juniper's Dining Directors gathered at Juniper Village at Lebanon for an intensive, hands-on butchery masterclass led by experts from Foods Galore, Inc.

The session provided our culinary leads with practical, hands-on training in:

▪️ Precision Butchery: Advanced techniques for beef and pork breakdown.

▪️ Yield Optimization: Strategies for cost-effective purchasing and sustainable product utilization.

▪️ Safety & Artistry: Expert-led sessions on knife safety and specialized cooking techniques.

Special thanks to our instructors:

▪️ Executive Chef Joseph Salvato (Recipes & Cooking Techniques)

▪️ Michael Palangi (Butchering & Knife Safety)

▪️ William O’Toole (Product Description & Utilization)

Juniper attendees included Kaitlin Santmyer and Adam Weill (Mount Joy), Luis Ruiz III (Lebanon), Miguel Espina and JoJo Yamboa (Paramus), Pauline Ricamara and Sonny Marin (Washington Square), Adam Sweetland (Forest Hills), Lori Chiodo (Meadville), Jeffery Toy (Devon), Anthony Ginolfi (Chatham), Bobby Maffei (Hamilton), and Melissa Lyons Emel (Brookline).

This training isn't just about technical skills—it’s about bringing the highest quality, cost-effective, and expertly prepared cuts directly to our residents' tables.

We had an amazing time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀 From festive decorations to lots of laughter, the day was filled with joy and great memories.

A special highlight was the incredible bagpipers who brought tradition and excitement to our community —you could feel the energy the moment they started playing!

Thank you to our entire team for making the day so special and to community members for bringing the spirit and smiles.

Here’s to good luck, great company, and unforgettable moments!

Managing healthcare can be overwhelming! Scheduling appointments across town, communicating with different doctors, and tracking prescriptions can feel like a full-time job.

Our innovative Connect4Life program relieves that stress by bringing key healthcare partners on site, and having our skilled Medical Concierge coordinate it all!

For residents, that means personalized attention, fewer trips out for medical care, and more time for things and people you love.

For families, it means peace-of-mind, knowing there’s a team collaborating behind the scenes and paying attention to the details.

For healthcare providers, it means access to the complete, real-time information to facilitate the best outcomes for your patients.

The best part is Connect4Life works! Not only are residents happier - they’re also healthier. Third-party research shows Juniper residents are 50% less likely to require a hospitalization than peers.
