My personal background is in Recreational Therapy. I was in school at Slippery Rock University and ended up with paralysis from the chest down and now use a power wheelchair. I am hoping to finish my degree and work in a pediatric hospital, but love working with children of all ages and abilities. My group is going to be open to children/young adults with physical disabilities.

How old is your child/young adult and their siblings?
How much support would your child or young adult need? (one on one, two on one, small group setting, large group setting)
Would late Saturday mornings work as a time to meet?
What needs do I need to be aware of with your child or young adult? (behaviors, differences in hand function, braces used that would help with activities, wheelchair user/mobility equipment used, etc)
Does your child have any special interests that I can incorporate into sessions?
Does your child have any allergies that would interfere with crafting activities or food allergies?
Optional question-what is your child's diagnosis? How does it affect them?
I’d love to know anything else important to know about your child!
