We had a graduation last night! This guy is one of the nicest guys and he has worked so hard to learn about the disease of addiction and the process of recovery. He has learned that recovery is a lifetime journey that he cannot do alone. He has also learned that, he's not alone. Congratulations! We are so proud of you!!!

Today was a super special day as we celebrated one of our most special patients. She has had many ups and downs, fell off the map a time or two, but she always came back and kept trying. Her journey has been long however, she kept on trying. Addiction is a HORRIBLE disease that often affects more than one generation of family members but this gal is breaking the chains of addiction! She is going to support group meetings, has a sponsor, and has a fabulous group of friends in recovery. We are so proud of you girl! Never lose your sparkle!!! Congratulations!

Oh shoot! I missed a graduation. This one happened a few weeks ago but somehow I either didn't get the photos or missed them. I apologize to this hard working graduate because he needs to be celebrated with all of the bells and whistles. He has been awesome to work with, handled himself well, kept an open mind and learned about the disease of addiction that has been plaguing his life. He has decided to take his life back and we are very proud of him and his recovery journey. Congratulations!

We are starting our week off on the right foot with this young man's graduation. He is quiet, kind, has a big heart, he's a very hard worker and makes it hard not to love working with him. He came for help and agreed to a 12 week education but once he got involved in group and learning about recovery, he decided to stay for the entire program! What a trooper! Congratulations, we are so happy to have played a role in your recovery journey and wish you continued success as you progress.

We had something really cool happen yesterday. One of our previous graduates, graduated Jackson County Drug Court. We are so proud her, she has moved mountains, worked through hardships, got a great job, and made a baby all while attending IOT groups and meeting all of the drug court's criteria. Heck, I can't walk and chew gum at the same time, this girl is SUPER WOMAN!!!

What???? Listen up folks, we have another fantastic graduate! This guy came in a complete mess and his hard work and dedication has him climbing out to see the light of day. This guy is a genuine nice guy and he loves helping others. He is a great friend to his new recovery family. Life in recovery is sure looking good on him! Watch out world, here he comes!
