During cold and flu season, we're washing our hands more frequently - which is great for immunity but tough on skin!

The secret to preventing dry, cracked hands? Dry them thoroughly after washing. Residual moisture evaporates and takes your skin's natural oils with it.

Pat completely dry, then apply moisturizer while skin is still slightly damp for best absorption.

💡 HEART HEALTH TIP: Your cholesterol story is bigger than just LDL

Think LDL is the only "bad cholesterol" you need to worry about? Think again.

Other lipids also contribute to plaque buildup in your arteries, and they're all carried by something called ApoB (Apolipoprotein B) - which is actually a much better predictor of heart disease risk than LDL alone.

🔍 Next time you get labs: Ask your doctor about testing ApoB levels, or at minimum, pay attention to your non-HDL cholesterol number instead of just focusing on LDL.

Please be cautious. These are often scams that leave you woefully under-insured if anything significant happens despite promises otherwise.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I became suspicious when I couldn't find legitimate information about these offers beyond the unsolicited messages. I’ve been trying to report these unsolicited messages to the FTC, but they are closed due to the shutdown.
