I saw this and for me, I needed to read this. So, I share with you in hopes you needed to see this as well:

We talk a lot about cutting people off, but not enough about the grief that comes after. Holding a boundary can mean choosing your wellbeing over a connection you wished could’ve been different. It hurts to let go of the version of them you hoped for and the version of you who kept trying. If you’re sitting with that ache, it doesn’t mean you made the wrong choice it means you’re human. You can miss someone and still protect your peace. You can feel sad and still know it was necessary💙
