❤️🏹 An Important Announcement ❤️🏹
Ecclesiastes 3: 1 & 4
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to weep and a time to laugh: a time to mourn and a time to dance…”
Life changes.
Seasons come and go.
The closing of one chapter leads to the beginning of a new chapter.
When we opened this salon back in 2018, my dream, “my why”, was if God gave me the opportunity I just wanted to pour into people. To form relationships with people.
To have a safe and peaceful space that people could be a part of and feel better about themselves when they left than when they walked in.
That’s been “my why” since day one and that has never changed. And I hope I’ve been able to accomplish that in some small way.
People have asked many times over the years “Why the name Graceful Arrow”?
The answer is this; First of all, God’s Grace.
His Grace is given freely to us.
I want to receive Grace and give grace.
Grace Full.
Secondly, my daughter’s middle name is Grace.
Obviously, I love the word and name Grace.
And the Arrow.
An arrow is very powerful and sharp and strong.
It has a target, a plan, a purpose it’s trying to reach. But it can only reach that destination when it is pulled backwards with tension and then released.
The same can be said of all of us.
Life has a way of pulling us backwards through turmoil and distress and adversity.
Challenges that pull us away from our target.
But when we let God lead us and we release the need for control, He can get us to our desired purpose. His plan for our lives.
Changing seasons.
And life itself has changed for me.
Through a traumatic loss, when I was so broken and empty, and I had nothing left to pour into anyone, God surrounded me with wonderful people that poured into me. What a blessing.
Winter into Spring.
Now, there are new beginnings. A new future.
And there is life again.
God has been so good to me.
Thank you, God.
With new beginnings, sometimes “what was” no longer fits into “what is”.
And another season comes and life changes.
Sometimes nothing is the same as before.
I’ve come to realize Life equals Change.
So the decision has been made that Graceful Arrow, the current salon, is coming to an end.
That season has ended.
Some current health concerns have given me the last push to make this decision. And because of those concerns, the next step for Graceful Arrow and myself is unknown at this time.
If you are a hair or lash client of mine, I will continue to reach out to you personally.
There will be more updates to come here on the salon’s page. So please be looking for those.
Mallory and Dr Pam are making plans for their new journeys as well.
Those announcements will be here on the salon’s page as well when things are finalized.
Both ladies will be staying in Seymour.
Graceful Arrow’s doors will be open for a few more weeks so any appointments you already have with Mal or Dr Pam are still valid.
Our exit will happen next month, in March.
To all those that have touched my life through the salon, I thank you.
Every person that has walked through that door, whether a client, a gal working in the salon or just a friend dropping by, you have brought something to my life that I will cherish forever.
Love, blessings, lessons, laughter, prayers, and support.
From the bottom of my heart, Thank You.
It’s been an honor. And my privilege. 🤍
On to the next chapter.
Love, Missie ❤️🏹
