✨ About Al-Anon:
Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship offering a program of recovery for the families and friends of alcoholics β€” whether or not the alcoholic recognizes a drinking problem or seeks help. Members share comfort, understanding, and hope through the mutual exchange of experiences.
Sharing similar struggles helps create a strong bond of support, guided by a tradition of anonymity.
Al-Anon is not a religious organization, counseling agency, or treatment center, and is not affiliated with any other organization.

πŸ’š Please join us to learn more about Al-Anon in Jackson County β€” and feel free to share this post with anyone who might benefit from the support and understanding of an Al-Anon group.

🌟 Meet the 180 RCO Team! 🌟
The 180 RCO team is here to help you β€” in the community, on the phone, and at our offices. We’re passionate about recovery and walking alongside those on their journey to a better life. Our team members share a heart for service and connection, and we’d love for you to get to know them!

MaryAnna Garrett – Executive Director
Hello! My name is MaryAnna Garrett, and I am blessed and thankful to The Lord for the opportunity to be the Executive Director of 180 RCO. I have worked in the field of Criminology/Sociology for over 25 years and believe the most important thing we can do is help each other succeed every day. I live in Seymour with my husband Aaron (my treasured gift from God) and our dog Disco (the greatest pup to ever pup). Please feel free to drop by the 180 office and say hi β€” there will always be coffee!

Brooke Short – Peer Recovery Coach
Hello! My name is Brooke Short. I am a certified peer recovery coach who has been working in the field of addiction recovery for 6 years. I’ve lived in Jennings County my whole life and am a proud mom of two boys who are my entire world. I’m a strong advocate for recovery, passionate about helping others succeed, and always ready to lend a nonjudgmental ear β€” both in the wins and the struggles.

Jodi Prewitt – Peer Recovery Coach
Hi, I’m Jodi! I’m a certified peer recovery coach originally from Bartholomew County, now settled in Jackson/Jennings County. I have a passion for helping others find recovery and have been working in the field for over a year. I’m compassionate, kind, and (some say) a little spunky β€” I tend to lead with my heart. I’m also a proud mom of two beautiful children who keep me on my toes and remind me daily of my greatest blessing: being their mother.

✨ Much of our work happens out in the community, so catching us in person isn’t always easy β€” but we’re always just a phone call away. If you’re near one of our offices, stop by and say hello! We’d love to meet you.

Community, connection, and support: themes for the 2nd Graduating Class of the H.O.P.E. 180 Men's Program. Thank you to the generous staff at Jackson County Jail and The Brooklyn Pizza Company for working to support all participants. Every positive act makes a difference, and all the men shared gratitude for a chance to make their own.

A community is only as strong as the individuals within it. We are all interconnected. Your actions influence the actions of others. Your strength can inspire someone else to find theirs. As more people commit to living this way, the community becomes stronger. 🫢🏻
