Supper Club was a delicious success tonight! 🍽️

The menu featured breaded baked chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, and cranberry sauce, with cheese and crackers to start and a sweet vanilla pudding parfait for dessert.

Even better than the meal was the time spent together, enjoying good food, great conversation, and the company of wonderful friends.

Even with the freezing rain on Tuesday, our National Mulled Wine Day Networking Event was a wonderful success! 🍷

Over 40 professionals came out to mix, mingle, and connect with one another. It was a fantastic evening filled with warm conversation, new partnerships, and meaningful community connections.

Events like this remind us how powerful it is when people come together to share ideas, build relationships, and support one another in the work we do for our communities.

We’re so grateful to everyone who braved the weather and made the evening such a memorable one!

A little friendly competition made our morning extra fun! 🎉

Our residents enjoyed a lively game of coin bowling, rolling ping pong balls into cups for the chance to win a prize. Lots of laughter, concentration, and excitement filled the room as everyone gave it their best shot.

This month, we proudly recognize and celebrate the incredible social workers who play such a vital role at National’s facilities every day. Social workers are at the heart of resident-centered care — providing emotional support, advocating for resident needs, guiding care planning, and helping residents and families navigate important transitions.

Their work brings comfort during times of adjustment, clarity during complex decisions, and reassurance when it’s needed most. Through compassion, empathy, and dedication, they help foster trust, connection, and overall well-being for those we serve.

We are truly grateful for the difference our social workers make in the lives of our residents and their loved ones.

Kindness is at the heart of everything we do. Sheila Johnson, Director of Nursing at Bethel Health Care Center, shares how small, thoughtful moments—like remembering a resident’s favorite blanket or how they take their coffee—make a big difference.

By bringing smiles to those around them, our team embodies kindness every day, helping our centers truly feel like home.

Winter can affect more than just the weather. Shorter days and reduced sunlight can impact mood and energy, particularly for individuals experiencing Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

At our centers, we take a comprehensive approach to resident well-being. By fostering social connection, promoting physical activity, providing balanced nutrition, and creating bright, supportive environments, we help residents maintain wellness for both mind and body.

Kindness is always in style around here!

Today, we shared “Sweet Morsels of Kindness” to brighten the day and remind everyone just how appreciated they are. It’s the small, thoughtful gestures that can turn an ordinary shift into something special.

Here’s to spreading kindness today and every day.

When the snow started falling, our team stepped up in the biggest way.

From Sunday dinner through Monday breakfast and lunch, our “Snow A Team” made sure everything ran smoothly. Offices turned into overnight rooms as dedicated staff members stayed the night to ride out the storm and keep our residents safe and supported.

When challenges come our way, this group shows up for each other—and for those who count on us most. Storm or shine, that’s what commitment looks like. ❄️
