Our story began in 1857, but it was in 1899 that Fred Voss and his son, Frank J. Voss, opened their furniture store and funeral parlor in Seymour. Today, their legacy continues with Paul St. Pierre, a sixth-generation funeral director, who serves our community with dedication alongside his wife, Kristin, and our devoted staff.

Buddy Fletcher, our General Manager and Licensed Funeral Director, brings 40 years of experience and a deep heart for service. After completing the Mortuary Science Program at Cypress College, he joined Voss & Sons in 2025.

He’s played an active role in the Seymour community, serving on Chamber of Commerce committees and helping launch the town’s first All Pro Dad chapter in 2019. Buddy and his wife, Amy, have six children and enjoy traveling, serving others, and attending The Point Church of Seymour.
