When Shaquille OโNeal decided to pursue his MBA from the University of Phoenix, he wanted to attend in-person classes rather than studying online. However, the university required at least 15 students to form a physical class.
Rather than settling for online learning, Shaq took matters into his own hands. He paid for 15 of his close friends to enroll with him, covering their tuition so they could all attend classes together.
His motivation came from his business experiences, where he noticed people would speak only to his lawyers or managers, not directly to him. Shaq wanted to ensure he fully understood the business world himself.
Beyond this incredible gesture, he later earned a Ph.D. in Education, proving that he's just as serious about academics as he is about basketball. His story is a powerful example of leadership, generosity, and the value of lifelong learning.

Unwinding Meridians: Applying Acupuncture Principles to Craniosacral Therapy
Courses offered through the Upledger Institute. These intermediate to advanced level courses teach you how to utilize the points and pathways of acupuncture along with the energy, intention and wisdom of your own hands to enhance the effectiveness of CranioSacral Therapy. From the rich knowledge of Oriental medicine you can draw connections between the craniosacral system and organs, emotions, sounds, colors, tastes and much more. Dynamic workshops also offer options in verbal dialoguing to enhance energy flow. Courses include lecture, demonstration, and practice for each technique presented. The series includes 4 levels of classes. UMAC 5 and Distance Healing will be released soon!
Ken developed CranioSacral Therapy and Oriental Medicine in his private practice and as an instructor with the Cleveland Healing Arts Institute. His Oriental Medicine education started in the early 1970's with the martial arts teachers and included studies in Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
His studies in CranioSacral Therapy started in 1979 and continued with Dr. John Upledger from the early 1980's to this day. Ken has taught and lectured at the college and graduate levels as well as at national and international conferences on health.
