Saints Foundation unites the unique strengths of St. More specifically, the Foundation will assemble philanthropic resources and make grants to St. Gertrude’s.

Francis Regional Medical Center and Benedictine Living Community Shakopee to provide meaningful opportunities to advance the future of health care through philanthropic efforts. Saints Foundation will serve to match the passion and commitment of community donors and volunteers with the needs of these organizations in order to contribute to the quality of life throughout our regional community. Congratulations to Jocelyn on receiving the Eileen Dietz Nursing Scholarship!

Jocelyn shared that nursing is where her purpose and compassion meet. As a CAN and Patient Care Technician, she has learned that nursing is defined by presence - seeing patients fully and treating them with dignity.

Jocelyn hopes to become an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner, combining her clinical skill with empathy to help patients regain mobility and confidence.

Congratulations to Angie on receiving the Eileen Dietz Nursing Scholarship!

Angie has spent 25 years caring for others as a CNA, shaped by her experiences supporting her son through leukemia and her fiancé after a traumatic brain injury. These moments strengthened her belief that nursing is about helping people with compassion, advocacy, and holistic care.

Congratulations to Amy on receiving the Sheridan Hafdal Medical Career Scholarship!

Amy's decision to pursue psychiatric mental health nursing is rooted in personal loss and decades of frontline experience. After her brother was murdered at the age of 16, she learned firsthand the lifelong impact of trauma and grief.

Amy has spent more than 20 years as a paramedic and 13 years as an ER nurse, caring for countless patients in crisis and witnessing the gaps in mental health access.

Congratulations to Ashritha on receiving the Culvers of Shakopee Medical Career Scholarship!

Shaped by her brother's battle with leukemia, Ashritha discovered early that healing is not only about cures, but about presence, compassion, and responsibility.

Yesterday, Saints Foundation provided annual scholarships through the Culvers of Shakopee Medical Career, Sheridan Hafdal Medical Career and Eileen Dietz Nursing Scholarships.

This year, the Saints Foundation Scholarship Committee selected four individuals to receive these scholarships as they pursue their healthcare education!
