Recently Shakopee Public Schools CAPS students had their favorite day…surgery day! Dr. Dietrich and surgical staff talked with the students about different roles in a surgery.

Then, students were able to practice sutures and use a DaVinci Robot! Students used the robot to unwrap Starbursts...trying to beat Dr. Dietrich's time!

Last week, Shakopee Public Schools CAPS students participated in Shark Tank! Students were presented with a problem to solve and had a few weeks to research and ideate a solution. They then presented their solution to a panel of "Sharks" who had to decide to make a deal or not!

St. Francis Patient Access staff had a joyful time volunteering at The Humanity Alliance, a nonprofit whose focus is addressing access to nutrition and housing with love and dignity.

Staff helped prepare meals that will be delivered to community members in need. Giving back to the community we serve is incredibly important and it's a blessing when we can have so much fun doing it!
