🌟 Team Spotlight: Shalee 🌟

For our last assistant spotlight of the week, we are celebrating Shalee! Shalee has been with Atlantic Dental for three years now and has become such a valued part of our team. She’s known for her soft-spoken nature and her willingness to jump in and help wherever she’s needed! Shalee is currently studying to pursue dental hygiene, and we’re so excited to watch her continue to grow in the dental field.

Outside of work, Shalee enjoys cooking, decorating her home, and riding trails on the four-wheeler with her boyfriend. She’s also a dog mom to Luckii, Louie, and Luna.

🌟 Team Spotlight: Barbara 🌟

Today we’re celebrating our amazing dental assistant, Barbara! With over 20 years of service to the Shallotte dental community, Barbara truly brings experience, heart, and dedication to everything she does.

She says she loves everything about dentistry and it shows! After retiring for a short two years, she realized the dental world was calling her back. When the opportunity to work with Dr. Williams became available, she knew she had to take it. Barbara shares that it’s a true pleasure to work for Dr. Willams and alongside such a wonderful team. Barbara keeps work fun and is a joy to work with.

Outside the office, Barbara enjoys baking (the best desserts you’ll ever try), gardening, relaxing at the beach, and most of all, spending time with her grandkids.

🌟 Team Spotlight: Kenzie 🌟

Today we’re celebrating another one of our amazing dental assistants, Kenzie!

Kenzie is always eager to jump in, lend a helping hand, and learn something new. Her positive attitude and willingness to grow make her such a valuable part of our team.

Outside of the office, Kenzie stays busy with all the things she loves: crafting, gardening, baking and spending time on a boat or at the beach! She’s also a dog mom to Waylon and Marley, and she even has two chickens, Henrietta and Penny! Although Kenzie loves assisting, she aspires to be a dental hygienist one day.

🌟 Team Spotlight: Carla 🌟

Carla has been working with Dr. Williams for 20 years — or as she would say, “forever!” Over the years, she’s built lasting relationships with patients and has a true gift for making everyone feel comfortable and cared for. She often says her patients are like extended family, and it shows in the kindness and attention she gives every day. She also shares that her coworkers feel like family too, which is exactly how we feel about her!

When she’s not in the office, Carla enjoys spending time with her family, working in her yard and garden, listening to music, and caring for her boxer, Coal, and her pet squirrel, Rocky.
