Meet sweet little Banks❤️❤️❤️. He is the son of Maggie and Shane Ballard and the grandson of Tommy and Terri Ann Bennett. Many of you are friends with Terri Ann on FB and know her kind, giving heart.
Little Banks is only 9 months old but has faced medical challenges his entire life. Right now, he does not have an official diagnosis – but doctors have determined he aspirates on all liquids, including his own reflux, meaning he’s also aspirating stomach acid. Recently, they also discovered that Banks was born with lung issues that have left him with only 50% lung function in both lungs. Banks is now part the Aerodigestive Program at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, where specialists are working hard to find answers. Maggie and Banks travel to Minnesota every three months for his appointments and procedures, while Shane stays home with their two-year-old son, Beck.
The event will have two items for the winner to choose from, Little Elroy the Christmas Mouse or Bathtub Bertha. There will be one winner. The remaining piece will be auctioned for a Rescue of my choice (details after the Children’s Event ends).
All donations will be through Paypal Atarstone@aol.com. A $10 Donation will get you one entry into a drawing for Little Elroy the Christmas Mouse or Bathtub Bertha. $25 will get you 3 entries into the drawing. I will cover the shipping costs within the contiguous USA. 100% of funds raised will be donated to Children’s Dr Bear ($300) and the remaining to Little Banks and his family.
