I am a life guide, mentor and coach, and a Reiki practitioner. I dig up epiphanies, turn on lightbulbs, and help to build personal lifemaps. My joy is to pull strings and help unravel life’s barbed-wired ball of conundrums while helping folks find and gather their dislodged pieces so we can work together to put them back into place. Meet the newest member of Eclectic Remedies! Valeria Jane Gruss arrived Monday Jan 29.

I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since this girl has arrived and forever changed my life. I didn’t know it was possible to love someone you just met so much. I feel so incredible blessed to have such a healthy beautiful baby girl and that I am healthy and doing well too.

Thank you to my clients, family and friends who have reached out and given me their support, it means so much to me.

I don’t know what my return plan is just yet. Still trying to make it through this first month but I will give updates on my return as soon as I know. I’m enjoying this time with her but also missing my work. Can’t wait to see everyone back in the studio!

It’s getting close to that time that baby Gruss will be making their appearance! I’m due on January 25, 2024! My last day in the studio will be Friday January 12th.

My online scheduler will be turned off starting after Christmas and I will be switching to by appointment only. If you would like to schedule something after Christmas please call or text me at (814) 227-7361. That will be the best way to reach me and get on the schedule before I’m out of the studio.

I also will not be selling gift certificates this year as I just feel to bad that people will have to wait so long before they could use there gift for when I come back from leave. When I come back is still unclear as not really sure when baby will decide to arrive. My hope is to have 3 months at home with them before returning to the studio.

I’m blessed beyond measure with having each of you in my life and for the wonderful year I’ve had being blessed with a child. I look forward to this next chapter in life as a mother and I can’t wait to see how this will transform my business. Most of you know but for those that haven’t heard the news yet, I’m having a baby! I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant and sporting a pretty good sized baby bump. As the weeks go along I may need to make some adjustments to my schedule but for now everything will remain the same. I look forward to seeing you all going into the fall and winter!💜

7 years ago today I started Eclectic Remedies in a back room at I was in the process of going to school to be an ultrasound tech when this opportunity presented itself to me. I almost passed it up thinking that I was heading in a new direction but I just had to try and see if I could do it. I am so glad I did, it’s been the most challenging and rewarding adventure of my life. I spent many years building my business while working another job and working 6 sometimes even 7 days a week. Eventually I got to the point I was only working for myself and in year 5 of my business I was able to buy my own commercial building in Sharpsburg to continue to grow in. I am so grateful for all the wonderful people I have met and helped me get here, my amazing clients for supporting me and my husband/family/friends for helping and always being there for me. Cheers to many more years of Eclectic Remedies to come!
