* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northwestern Ellis County in northwestern Oklahoma...
Northwestern Woods County in northwestern Oklahoma...
Harper County in northwestern Oklahoma...
Northern Woodward County in northwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 713 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles south of Buttermilk to 5 miles northeast of
May to 5 miles northwest of Follett, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Shattuck, Laverne, Buffalo, Gage, Fargo, Fort Supply, Freedom, May,

We all know Samantha McCandless and her amazing family. She joined Ellis County EMS because of her pride and compassion for her community. She is on the local Fire Department, owns two businesses and never misses out on her kiddos events. Her family comes first and thats why we should be lucky to have her a part of our community. (By extension the community is her family as well.)

WHY IS SHE ON HERE TODAY?
Well this girl some how found more time in her crazy life and spent the last 6 months working to become an Advanced EMT so she could bring more skills, knowledge and education to her patients.

Without telling anyone she snuck off and took her AEMT test today and passed with flying colors.

We are so proud of you.

Also, you may want to thank Aaron and and the kids for their support.

Not only does Denise keep things running smoothly as our Billing Coordinator, she’s also a Paramedic and certified EMS Instructor who continues to make an impact in our community. This week, she recertified 6 CF Industries employees in both EMR and CPR—many of whom she originally certified two years ago. Watching her continue to invest in these individuals and their lifesaving skills is something we’re incredibly proud of.
The guys really enjoyed the hands on experience they got while here in Ellis County. They got to use our in house training equipment, and even got to run on a call!
Her dedication to education, patient care, and community safety does not go unnoticed.
Thank you, Denise, for everything you do for Ellis County EMS and beyond! 💙🚑
