Huge congratulations to Move Better athlete Cole Bolesta!

Cole is the PIAA 3A District Champion in the 200 freestyle and also competed at the YMCA District Championships in York, where he took 1st place in the 1650 with a national qualifying time.

That performance qualified him for YMCA States at West Virginia University and YMCA Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina.

He’ll also be competing this week at the PIAA 3A State Championships.

Outstanding work, Cole. Best of luck in finishing the season strong! 💪

Huge congratulations to Move Better athlete !

Billy is competing at the YMCA District Championships in York and brought home Gold in the 1000 freestyle with a 10:08, qualifying for YMCA States in West Virginia in the 1000 and 1650, with a shot at the 500 today.

He’ll also be racing this week at the PIAA State Championships.

Perimenopause isn’t a discipline problem.

If your body feels different lately —

✨ more cravings
✨ workouts not “working”

You’re not imagining it.

Perimenopause and menopause change how your body responds to stress, carbs, sleep, and exercise.

As estrogen fluctuates and declines, we often see:
• Reduced insulin sensitivity
• Faster muscle loss
• Increased abdominal fat storage
• Greater impact from stress
• More sleep disruption

So if you’re trying to fix it by eating less and doing more cardio…

That strategy may be backfiring.

Here’s the shift:

✔ Aim for **at least 0.7g protein per pound of bodyweight daily**
✔ Strength train 2–4x per week
✔ Protect sleep like it’s medicine
✔ Manage stress (your nervous system matters)

At Move Better, you are never just a face in the crowd. Unlike most “gyms” every member workout is delivered by an expert coach who knows YOU and YOUR needs. You’ll train with people just like you. People who want to look, feel and Move Better to live their best life.

We offer small group fitness training and Private One on One fitness training in a clean, comfortable atmosphere and have the expertise to deal with most physical limitations (Becuase lets face it. We all have “stuff”!)

We also offer online training for fitness as well as Nutrition and Wellness Coaching
