💙 Keeping Our Kids Safe Starts at Home 💙

Accidental injuries and youth suicides involving fi****ms or medications most often happen with items found in the home. By prioritizing safe storage, families can prevent curiosity-based access, protect young children, and reduce risks for teens who may be experiencing stress or mental health challenges.

Simple steps, like using gun locks and medication lock boxes, can truly save lives.

Gateway is proud to partner with the Lincoln County Cares Coalition, Red Rock Behavioral Health, OK Foster Family Support, and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office to provide FREE medication lock boxes and gun locks to families, made possible through OK Opioid Abatement Funding.

Together, we can create safer homes and stronger communities.

Gateway exists to be a safe place to turn when life feels overwhelming. But we can't do it alone.

Because of recent funding cuts, we’re working harder than ever to stretch all of our resources while keeping our programs available to as many people as possible. A gift to our organization, no matter the size, helps us continue providing counseling, recovery services, crisis support, and prevention programs to people who would otherwise go without care.

Over the last 40 years, Gateway has been able to live out its mission of serving and helping individuals and families who struggle with mental health and behavioral health issues thanks to our community and generous people just like you.

Unfortunately, with recent contract cuts, reductions, and financial challenges at the state and federal level, continuing this work has become incredibly challenging. We have had to reduce staff and close one of our offices in order to keep providing services.

At this critical time, when many are struggling and need us most, we’re asking you to help support the work we do so we can continue providing programs and services to those in need.
