🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from SCI! 🇺🇸

In celebration of the 4th of July, SCI will be closed on Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, July 4th to allow our team to enjoy the holiday with their loved ones. We will reopen and resume normal business hours on Monday, July 7th.

🚧 We’re officially breaking ground! 🚧

This marks South Central Industries’ first housing project since being named a certified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) by the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency in late 2024. With support from HOME funds, we’re building two new rental homes on infill lots donated to the City of Shawnee — and passed on to SCI to help meet our community’s housing needs.

We’re proud to use one of the City of Shawnee, OK Government pre-approved infill lot housing plans, which were created to streamline the building process and encourage smart, efficient development in areas ready for revitalization.

Big thanks to Josh Little of Josh Little Construction, LLC, our lead contractor and a dedicated member of the Shawnee Housing Alliance, for helping make this vision a reality.

This is just the beginning as we continue to grow workforce housing and invest in revitalizing Shawnee neighborhoods from the ground up. 🏠
