It's finally starting to feel like winter! Here are some tips on what to look out for when it comes to frost bite and hypothermia this winter. ❄️🧣🧥
Skin that is frostbitten will start to hurt or feel numb. Do not rub or pop any blisters. Soak in WARM water. If numbness continues, call your doctor.
Hypothermia occurs when the body's temperature drops well below normal. Remove wet clothing and wrap in warm, dry blankets. Ensure you cover the vital organs in the trunk area. Call emergency services right away.
How to prevent these winter weather emergencies:

❄️Wear warm layers and cover all extremeties
❄️Take breaks from being outside
