Wisconsin snow isn’t just for snowballs… pioneers used it to make soap! ❄️

Well… the mystery mess has been revealed. 💙

Yes — it was **blue lipstick everywhere**.

Sometimes a special client request means experimenting, mixing, adjusting pigments, and occasionally ending up with a lab table that looks like a modern art project. But that’s part of the magic of creating custom cosmetics.

This bold blue was made for a fun concert look, and honestly… it might be one of the most playful shades I’ve made yet.

Custom creations like this are one of my favorite parts of what I do — taking an idea and turning it into something uniquely yours.

And sometimes that means a little lipstick chaos along the way. 💄✨

“What does painting have to do with skincare?”

Artists see formulation differently.

People think skincare starts in a lab.

Sometimes it starts with understanding balance, texture, and color.

As an artist, mixing paint teaches you something most people never think about — the smallest adjustment can completely change the final result.

Formulating skincare works the same way.

A slight shift in ingredients, ratios, or texture can transform how a product performs on the skin.

Art taught me patience with that process.

And honestly… I think it made me a better formulator.

Now I’m curious —
