Each year, this tradition is a reminder of just how grateful we are for the people who make Pine Haven such a special place. Our staff goes above and beyond every day— showing compassion, heart, and dedication in ways that truly make a difference for our residents and their families.

We’re highlighting Kathy, who has been brightening Pine Haven for years, starting her volunteer journey with her therapy dog, Oliver, making visits for 12 years!

Today, she leads our monthly Craft Club at the Giddings and Oostburg campuses. “I volunteer because it gives me a sense of purpose while helping others. It makes my heart happy!” she says. We’re so grateful for her creativity, compassion, and the joy she brings to our residents.
