Power yoga is designed to help strengthen your confidence, mind and body, and maybe in that order. It is not where we do our heaviest lifting. We work to connect mind and body in an even more powerful way than we might find in other classes, and we empower ourselves to give a little more to our practice.

The format is similar to a traditional vinyasa class with some strength opportunities that could show up in the use of light hand weights, or maybe just shapes or transitions that require more body awareness. Expect higher energy from the music, the flow, the students and the teacher.

YOGA FUNDAMENTALS ELKHART LAKE

Sara Smith will be teaching a Yoga Fundamentals class in Elkhart Lake on Saturday, May 16 from 11:15-12:15.

Yoga Fundamentals is a great class for so many people and so many reasons:
•if you are brand new to yoga
•if you have been practicing for a while and realize you have questions
•if the time slot just works for you
•if you are looking to bring a new friend
•if you are in or interested in teacher training and want some basic yoga refreshers

Class is designed for time to discuss and answer questions, and to cater specifically to the students in attendance.

It is helpful if you sign up in advance, but not a requirement.

Brunch @ 11:15am from PejaVu with a pre-order off a specially curated menu (see below!)

*one drink included with the price of your ticket to attend, cash bar open

Menu:
1) brunch burger
bushman homestead quarter pound beef patty, fried
egg, apricot mostarda, smokey bacon jam, and brie on a brioche bun

2) avocado tostada
two tostadas, smashed chipotle black beans, chihuahua cheese skirt, sliced avocado, fresh dressed greens, chunky salsa verde

3) kimchi pancake
cheesy scrambled eggs rolled inside a savory kimchi pancake topped with wasabi lime cream, cilantro, green onion, fresh jalapenos, and lime wedges

4) apple cobbler french toast
stacked french toast with layers of spiced stewed bourbon apples topped with a cobbler crumble and vanilla bean glaze, served with a side of maple syrup

Please also choose french fries or ‘spring time slaw’ as your side.
