To our concerned members of the community, due to last night’s situation we are working on clearing the air in the Botanica because of the number of pepper bombs released last night. We are still experiencing stinging in our breath, so we will be opening later today from 4-8pm we apologize for this inconvenience, we care about you and don’t want you to feel how we’re feeling in here.

Our pets are safe, we are safe, and the Botanica was not disturbed in anyway other then the lingering irritants of the pepper bombs that were released.

This was a situation that took place at our neighbors house. We pray for everyone involved and especially to the family members of those involved.

I just did a show on the podcast where I interviewed a Peer Support Specialist by the name of Tim “Nubz” amazing man by the way!

This morning, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order establishing “ICE-free zones.”
“That means that city property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as grounds for these raids,” Johnson said to applause.
