🦞🦞 A big thank you to everyone who came out to Fountain Park Friday night for the Early Bird Rotary Club Lobster Boil! Mike, Greg, and Doug Reinbold had a great time cracking lobsters and connecting with the community. We’re proud to support this event, which helps raise scholarship funds for students pursuing technical education. What a great night for a great cause! 🦞🦞

In honor of the brave men and women of Sheboygan County who served the United States in both peace and wartime, Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home established a memorial garden and flagpole at the corner of South Twelfth Street and Spruce Court. This tribute was officially dedicated on Memorial Day, Friday, May 30, 2003.

The ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries including State Senator Joe Leibham, The Honorable James Schramm (Mayor of Sheboygan), Alderman Daniel Berg, and the City of Sheboygan Police Honor Guard. Over 50 veteran honorees from local Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts were also present.

The Invocation was delivered by Deacon Michael Burch, the then serving Parish Director of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Military Honors were conducted by representatives of the United States Army and Navy, provided through the Military Honors Program of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.

This space stands as a lasting tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and service of our local heroes.

🎓 Congratulations, Doug Reinbold! 🎓

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Doug’s graduation from the Selected Leadership Academy, a prestigious and intensive 2-year program through Selected Independent Funeral Homes focused on leadership development, personal growth, and self-awareness.

This program brings together some of the best and brightest leaders in funeral service from across the country. Through collaboration, challenge, and deep reflection, Doug has emerged an even stronger leader—ready to bring enhanced service, innovation, and compassion to the families we serve here at home.

Doug’s hard work culminated with a Capstone presentation, formal recognition, and graduation. His dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence have not only benefited our funeral home but have also forged long-lasting relationships with fellow Selected classmates throughout the country.

We are so proud of Doug’s commitment to this journey and the ways his growth will strengthen our team and the service we provide to families in our community.

During a military funeral, members of the Armed Forces are expected to wear their service dress uniform and be prepared to salute when: the hearse passes in front of them, anytime the flag-draped casket is moved, during the formal gun salute, during the playing of Taps and when the casket is lowered into the ground.

While all veterans, service members, and occasionally family members are entitled to a military burial upon request, there are a number of instances where this can be denied. This includes if the individual was dishonorably discharged, or convicted of a capital offense. If you have any questions regarding the details of these qualifications, don't hesitate to give us a call at 920-452-7711.
