Nicole recently moved to the area from Kewaunee, WI, and is a proud mom of two (plus a furry friend 🐾) . She loves the outdoors and brings a passion for creating meaningful & joyful, experiences.

Her goal is to fill each day with smiles, laughter, and engaging activities that help our residents live life to the fullest- and we couldn't be more excited to have her!

⭐️ Join us in congratulating James, a dedicated Dietary Aide, who has made a lasting impression on residents as our April employee of the month! He was nominated for employee of the month by multiple residents, which speaks volumes about the positive impact he has every single day. He brings a warm & friendly energy into the dining room, taking the time to engage with residents, share conversations, and create a welcoming mealtime experience. We are glad James is a part of our team!

🐢 A Turtley Awesome Visit at Golden Harbor! 🐢

Our residents had a wonderful time this past Friday spending some quality time with some very special visitors — turtles! 🐢💚

Animal visits always bring so many smiles, laughter, and great conversations. Residents enjoyed learning about the turtles, watching them explore, and even getting a chance to interact with them up close. Experiences like these help create meaningful moments and brighten everyone’s day.

At Golden Harbor, we love bringing unique activities to our residents that spark joy and connection. Today was definitely a “turtley” great day! 😊

✨ Meet Our New House Manager! ✨

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our leadership team at Golden Harbor Assisted Living, Cassie Schauer!

With 8 years of hands-on healthcare and caregiving experience, and 3 years in leadership roles within a healthcare setting, she brings both heart and strong leadership to our community. 💙

Her journey in senior living actually began at just 17 years old as a dietary aide, giving her a deep understanding of what it takes to support residents at every level — from the kitchen to direct care to leadership. That full-circle experience is something truly special!

She is passionate about continuing to grow, support staff, and most importantly, ensure our residents feel safe, valued, and at home. She’s looking forward to working alongside our new management team and making positive changes within our community and strengthening the incredible care our team provides each day.

🎭 Mardi Gras Fun at Golden Harbor! 💛💚💜

Yesterday, we brought the spirit of New Orleans right into Golden Harbor with a festive Mardi Gras performance our residents absolutely loved! The room was filled with music, smiles, beads, and plenty of toe-tapping as everyone enjoyed the lively entertainment and celebration together.

Moments like these are what make our community so special — laughter, connection, and creating joyful memories with the people who call Golden Harbor home.
