Bones, skulls, teeth, hair, blood, and body parts have been revered as holding special magick and power since ancient times. Some even believe miracles were possible when using body parts of the dead. Co**se Magick is a way to connect with ancestors, seek guidance, transformation, secret knowledge, and explore the mysteries of death and the afterlife.
Christina Wilke-Burbach, PhD, is a Spiritual/Transpersonal Psychologist, Anthropologist, Death Witch, Death Doula, Psychopomp, Cemeterian, and works full-time in the deathcare industry. Let her guide you through the history of Co**se Magick and some modern takes on this form of witchcraft. (Please note, we will look at remains/the body of both humans and animals with honor and respect and focus on crafting/spellwork that doesn’t involve desecration.)

-Magick and spells with cremains: human and animal.
-Reading entrails and throwing bones.
-The history and modern use of Memento Mori.
-Necromancy, séances, communication with the dead/ancestors.
-Symbolic co**se magick, witch dolls, figure magick.
-Ritual, cleansing, and preparation of the body after death (in funerary practices).
-The magickal pros and cons of organ donation.

Bio for Christina Wilke‑Burbach
Christina Wilke-Burbach PhD is a Spiritual/Transpersonal Psychologist, Anthropologist, Death Witch, Death Doula, Psychopomp, Psychic, Poisoner, Occultist, Cemeterian, and works fulltime for one of the Largest Deathcare companies in the United States. She is a High Priestess in Training with Wiccan Family Temple. She works exclusively with chthonic and Underworld Deities from many paths and pantheons (including Greek, Celtic, Norse, and Egyptian). Her ministry and craft focus on death and dying, guiding souls to the otherworld and Summerland, facilitating communication and messages between the dead and the living as a medium, leading seances, receiving and facilitating messages from deities as an oracle, paranormal investigations and clearings, facilitating death rites, funerals, helping people with their death wishes and death plans, writing obituaries, green burials, and funeral flower arrangements. She created and facilitates a Cemetery Gardening Club and facilitates a Grief and Bereavement Support Group.

Christina has over 27 years of higher education and experience in psychology, spirituality, magick, the occult, and metaphysics. She is located in the Midwest. She has a PhD in Health Psychology, Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology, a minor in Sociology, and is trained in Transpersonal Psychology, having studied with Stan Grof MD, PhD-the founder of the field.
