Orange Cross Ambulance offers free car seat inspections during Child Passenger Safety Week in Sheboygan County.

Starting Monday, September 15th, please give yourself extra time to reach our clinic. The intersection of Wilgus Ave and Taylor Dr will be closed for a few months. There will be no access to Wilgus from Taylor, so you will have to access our clinic from Superior Ave via the roundabout to Wilgus from the west.

Wilgus Avenue at the North Taylor Drive intersection will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, September 15, 2025, through mid-November 2025. This closure is necessary to accommodate infrastructure improvements associated with the intersection reconstruction.

📚✏️ FREE School Supplies for Sheboygan Area Students! ✏️📚

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 9th from 8:00–10:00 AM at Longfellow Elementary School (819 Kentucky Ave) for the Back to School Basics school supply giveaway!

This fantastic event—hosted by the Sheboygan Recreation Department in partnership with the Sheboygan Optimist Club—provides free school supplies to local families who need help checking off their class lists. Each child receiving supplies should be present and go through the line with a parent or guardian.

🛍️ Supplies include basic items needed at all schools, but parents should still refer to their child’s specific list for any additional items.

🎒And the support doesn’t stop there—the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation (SPEF) continues to help area students and teachers throughout the year with its 2nd semester school supply replenish program, ensuring classrooms stay stocked when supplies start to run low.
