We would like celebrate Deb Rowe, who has been promoted from Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to Director of Nursing at Meaow View Health Services! 👏

Deb spent the majority of her nursing career in critical care ward of ICU, ER, and as a flight nurse manager, but had exposure to long term care early in her career. We are so glad that her heart is in long term care! ♥

In 2021, Deb joined North Shore Health and started as a floor nurse, before becoming ADON and interim DON. Congrats Deb on your new role!

Championed by Marian McQuade, National Grandparents Day was officially established by President Jimmy Carter in 1978, designating the first Sunday after Labor Day as National Grandparents Day to strengthen intergenerational bonds and recognize the importance of seniors. 👴👵💕

We celebrated our CNAs with cupcakes and root beer floats for National Nursing Assistants Week. We also had bangers and mash, bagels, a special breakfast , tacos, margaritas, and a full pulled pork picnic lunch.

CNAs are the heart of our team. They are the ones who spend the most time with our residents and they make each one of them feel special each day. They are all truly talented and appreciated!
