Dear Friends,
Two years ago I began creating the possibility of becoming an educator of dental health at an accredited institution. My initial vision was a balance between Private Practice Dentistry and teaching;however, life sometimes changes the direction of our hearts. With great excitement and anticipation, I recently accepted a faculty position at the Marquette University School of Dentistry. This calling will preclude me from practicing dentistry at Peter J. Steinert D.D.S., S.C. effective August 1, 2016.
In my search for my replacement, I believe I have found the perfect person. I knew we needed someone with special skills to carry on for the next 15-20+ years. Dentistry is evolving and changing at the fastest pace in history and he’s prepared. Even more important, this person needs to treat not just teeth but the person attached. As Dr. L.D. Pankey said, “Teeth don’t walk into our offices, human beings do.”
We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Christopher Yang. Dr. Yang and his wife Kabao (Xiong) both graduated from Sheboygan South High school and the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Dr. Yang attained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, OH. He recently completed a General Practice Residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Dr. Yang brings a wealth of knowledge, talent and skill; however, I believe it will be his compassion and caring personality that will maintain the high level of care to which we have all been accustomed.
Dr. Yang and Kabao have four beautiful children. We are thrilled they are both from Sheboygan and have returned to reside and work in our community.
There are a few things I would like you to be aware of. First, through this transition, we may require a little extra time as Dr. Yang will have a chance to introduce himself to you and familiarize himself with your dental health. Dr. Yang is passionate about patient care and excited to meet YOU.
Secondly, please share the exciting news about our office. As always, we welcome all friends and family. The greatest compliment is the referral of family and friends.
Finally, I would like to apologize for not being able to personally talk with each one of you. My heart is heavy to say good-bye. I have made it a priority to help each person achieve the level of health THEY desired. I have been honored by you for allowing me to care for you and your families. I consider that a special blessing. Please know you will always have a special place in my heart along with 25 years of incredible memories. I love you all!!!!
KEEP SMILING
Dr. Peter
