If your toddler has big emotions, you’re not alone.

Between ages 2–4, children are learning:
• independence
• language
• emotional regulation
• how their body feels and moves

That’s a LOT for a developing brain.

What can look like ā€œdefianceā€ or ā€œbehavior problemsā€ is often a child who doesn’t yet have the tools to regulate their feelings or sensory input.

Common signs we see in referrals:
• frequent meltdowns
• difficulty with transitions
• constant movement or crashing
• hitting or throwing when frustrated

Occupational therapy helps children build:
āœ” body awareness
āœ” calming strategies
āœ” play and attention skills
āœ” smoother transitions

Because little bodies with big feelings often just need the right tools to succeed.
