I get to know my patients and how their injury is affecting their life, job and activities. It is my goal to diagnose and treat acute and chronic injuries through non-operative and surgical methods to allow for return to activity. Together we decide the best treatment to restore or improve their ability to do the things they enjoy. I believe in promoting safe physical activity through outreach with community members, athletes, coaches and trainers.

As an Orthopedic Sports Medicine fellow, I learned advanced techniques in treating knee, shoulder, and hip injuries and helped treat the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Gophers football, Minnesota Gophers basketball, Minnesota Magicians junior hockey, and several high school and recreational organizations. I am a team physician for Lakeland University and cover local schools and sporting events.
