✨ NEW Support Group! ✨
Introducing BRAVE Together 💙
A compassionate space where caregivers can hold the hard and the hopeful together. Connect with others who truly understand, share your story, and find strength in peer support. Because no one should have to navigate caregiving alone.

While heading into a New Year can be rejuvenating and promising, it can also come with change and uncertainty. Take a look at our most recent blog post for a new take on the New Year's Resolution.

Step 1: Skip the Resolution As the new year begins, it often arrives with an unspoken expectation: set a resolution and stick to it. Everywhere we look, we’re encouraged to change ourselves; be more productive, healthier, happier, more successful. And let’s do ALL of this, starting January 1st! ...

We are incredibly grateful to Acuity Insurance Leadership for their continued commitment to our community. Special thanks to Ben Salzman for starting Acuity’s charitable giving program and to Melissa Winters for ensuring that this generosity continues to reach those with the greatest needs.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to Acuity employees; your votes matter. By choosing to support this work, you are sending a powerful message that mental health is health and that caring for one another is a shared responsibility.

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” 💚🩵💜

Thank you for standing with our community.

At its December 2025 Town Hall meeting, Acuity’s employees voted to distribute $500,000 among six charitable organizations: Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation; Fresh Meals on Wheels of Sheboygan County; Mental Health America Lakeshore; Safe Harbor; The Salvation Army; and Sharon S. From our MHA family to yours, we’re wishing you a safe and peaceful holiday season 🤍

As winter and the holidays arrive, many memories, emotions, and inner struggles can surface. Please take a moment to check in on your loved ones, friends, and neighbors, and be gentle with yourself, too. Kindness starts here.💚💙💜

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or need additional support, you can call 9-8-8 to connect with a trained counselor who is there to listen. You are not alone. Your story matters.

For the second year in a row, we are proud to feature Natalie Grunwald as our holiday card artist. Natalie, a student at Sheboygan Falls High School, created this beautiful original piece titled “Kindness Starts Here.” The hand-painted heart captures the essence of our mission; reminding us that kindness begins within and radiates outward, fostering hope, connection, and healing throughout our community.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will receive a printed card suitable for framing, along with a Kindness Starts Here magnet featuring a QR code that links to our curated Kindness Playlist of songs and podcasts.

Join our KINDNESS Campaign today and help us CHANGE lives.
