After this magical night ending beneath a rainbow, I experienced some loss and found myself face to face with shadows I thought I had long mastered. It felt as though I had been plunged into a lesson I had not visited in quite some time, while also moving through new energetic shifts that opened my perspective even further.
I realized there were still remnants within me of the belief that when something beautiful happens, something equally painful must follow. A quiet, hidden fear disguised as “balance” still lingered within my heart space. And for someone who is usually deeply grounded, I suddenly felt completely unglued.
The day became chaotic. Heavy. Uncertain. Today I am recovering from it all — grounding, reflecting, and slowly unraveling the deeper meaning behind it. And in doing so, I’m reminded how important these moments truly are. They reveal what we are capable of enduring, transforming, and becoming.
Sometimes the breaking open is the lesson. Sometimes the unraveling is the healing. Sometimes the storm is simply refining our character, our patience, our strength, and our capacity to love.
And maybe there is no true “good” or “bad” at all — only experiences, arriving exactly as they need to, to teach us the many forms of love, resilience, and grace along the way.

Still under some construction but www.hesperiagatherings.com is the new website to apply for Horror in the Park now and any other events hosted by me...Hearth and Harvest applications will be up shortly for you to apply for the new approved Farmers Market centered around food, plants and all you can make from those in my home base of Sheffield! Save the dates of August 29th, September 26th, October 31st (yes a wonderful Halloween night out planned for families on Montgomery Ave. This year!), and Black Friday November 27th for a Holiday market! 10am-6pm (Halloween Market may go later!)
