Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month, Amanda Pruitt, RDMS! 🎉 Amanda is a compassionate Ultrasound Tech who truly goes above and beyond for her patients. Recently, a family shared how Amanda’s quick actions and caring heart made all the difference:

When Amanda discovered a patient had a DVT, she didn’t stop when the physician’s office was closed. Instead, she personally reached out, guided the patient to the ER, and ensured he received treatment quickly. When thanked for going the extra mile, Amanda humbly said, “I was just doing what I would want for my family.” ❤️

This morning, Helen Keller Hospital proudly hosted the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice 24 years ago today. Firefighters from the Sheffield Fire Department climbed 110 flights of stairs, a solemn tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

We are deeply grateful to our friends at SFD for their commitment to honoring the fallen and keeping their memory alive.
