What a glorious day we were blessed with today! We had one resident and one staff member embark on a deer hunting adventure, and each one successfully reaped the reward of their perseverance, so heartfelt congratulations to them both. There will be captivating pictures to come of that triumph. Then today, we were hosting our monthly birthday celebration, a joyous occasion that always fills our hearts with delight, allowing us to cherish each other's company and bask in the harmony of great music, after our birthday party we had some veterans come out and give gifts to our in home veterans, that was so incredibly sweet.
This evening we were very grateful to have the Shelbina Christian Church middle school youth group students visit us at 6 o'clock to spread joy singing Christmas songs to our neighbors after supper. It was truly a day of wonder.
Plus, of course, we are still immersed in spreading Christmas cheer, striving to transform our building into a vibrant winter wonderland. We had an extraordinary day; gratitude abounds to everyone who lent a helping hand and shared their precious time.
