Yesterday, we celebrated two of our employees who have been such an asset to our home! Linda Ratliff, Restorative CNA, is retiring and Allyson Kinzle, CNA, is moving away! Linda has worked at Salt River/Baptist Homes for almost 24 years! Allyson has worked here for almost 7 years! We will miss them both immensely and thank them for all their years of dedication to our residents! 🥰🥰

Tuesday was truly unforgettable as South Shelby kids brightened up our neighbors' day with their visit! The kids read stories with infectious enthusiasm, handing out handmade cards that stole the show and warmed the hearts of our neighbors. The highlight of the afternoon was when the kids joined us for a very enthusiastic game of bingo, followed by a sweet treat of ice cream that put smiles all around! It was a day filled with laughter, and memories. Every resident was beaming with joy, and it's clear that this day will stay etched in their hearts forever. Kudos to South Shelby for crafting a day that will be cherished by all, a day that truly made a difference!

Thank you so much for including us in the Golden Ages Games—we are truly grateful for such a wonderful experience! There was so much laughter, I’m pretty sure they could hear us in the next town over.

This was my first year attending, and while it was a learning experience, I already can’t wait for next year. Everyone we met was so kind, supportive, and friendly—we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped organize and make this event so special. “Thank you” hardly feels like enough for all that you did.

On the way home, everyone was still smiling and talking about all the fun and festivities from the day. We are so thankful for the memories we made!

What a great birthday party

What a wonderful day we've had here at Baptist Homes we got everyone in for manicures today we had our monthly birthday party and a rousing game of pitch.
A huge thank you to Nnorth Shelby for the beautiful flowers you gave to us.

What a fun-tastic day
We played kings in the corner this morning, Catholic Mass. Then later this afternoon we played bingo and had a great turnout!!
Following that we had a snack break with ice cream. Next up we had a pitch game going which was pretty competitive to say the least lol.
This evening we were graced with Molly who put on quite the show for everyone. If you get a chance I would recommend listening to her she has a truly beautiful voice.

Monday, what a ridiculously fun day. We rocked Wacky themed clothes day, celebrated Catholic communion, and played cheese head! At 2:00, we all spilled outside for a corn hole showdown. The staff and residents teamed up and boy was it laugh out loud hilarious!
