Did you know that it is unsafe for babies and children under 2 to wear a mask?

As the coronavirus pandemic evolves, so do the recommendations. One of the most recent recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is to wear “cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.”

Did you know that I have THE MOST AMAZING, WONDERFUL, FULL OF HEART team of postpartum doulas? Sometimes I get a call or text from a parent with a new baby, and they ask,”I hate to ask last minute, but it’s been a rough day/couple of day/nights/etc. Is someone available?” You know what my team says? They say “YES!” Because asking for help and support is hard and knowing someone has your back makes all the difference. All.the.difference.

So today and everyday know that my team is here for you. A big thank you to my team of postpartum doulas! I can’t do it alone! Jen, Faye, Jody, Shannon B, Lisa H, Rachel, Erin, Betsy, Shannon J, Lisa L, Anna, Kate, Lindsay, and Missy.

I’m glad to see these items pulled from Amazon.

Amazon is pulling all infant inclined sleepers from its website—even those that have not been recalled—because the products are unsafe for sleep, after Consumer Reports urged retailers to stop selling the products.

Everyone loves a good origin story, right? Peter Parker’s spider bite, VH1’s “Before They Were Stars,” Meghan Markle (pre-princess). Those stories make us believe that anything is possible—and it IS! Would you believe that before I had success as The After Baby Lady, I was a middle school teach and SAHM? True story. After having my first child I found a group of moms and we raised each other in our new mommyhood. As my family and I moved to different places I was honored to find another group of amazing parents figuring things out, sharing ideas, and learning together. Then in an amazing moment of serendipity I learned about postpartum doulas and that passion brought me here. Where did you get your start?
