Butt wink during the squat isn't necessarily a bad thing.

It's usually a sign that we aren't getting the proper mobility from other joints first, so the body compensates through the low back.

Will your back explode if you keep squatting through butt wink? No

Should it make us ask more questions about why it's happening? Yes
