Well, change is in the air. Align Chiropractic is joining forces with Purdy Chiropractic and Cook Chiropractic. Starting September 8th, I will be working in the newest Purdy Chiropractic location - Shelby Township.

The office is located at 50258 Van D**e Ave, Ste A, Shelby Township, MI 48317

Patients of Align Chiropractic are welcome to continue care with me at our new location, or if that doesn't work for any reason, they are welcome to seek care at any of the 4 Purdy Chiropractic locations including Rochester.

I took yesterday off from running and walking (rest days matter, too)

So today, I got back at it with a run, then took my son on a second run.

Three takeaways from this:

1) Teaching our kids a love of movement and activity from an early age can help them avoid a number of health problems later in life.

2) My son chatted non-stop during the run. The activity gave him a chance to talk to me uninterrupted by his siblings or other life events. It helps us build a stronger relationship.

3) This was his longest continuous run to date, and I just wanted to brag for him for a second 😁 I'm super proud of his effort!

I'm not saying men are plants, but we do respond really well to water and sunshine. 😂.

Turns out by avoiding dehydration and getting time outside in the sun, we can reduce headaches frequency and intensity, we can improve pain levels, we boost mood, improve immune function, among other benefits.

If you're looking for a place to start - water and sunshine are a good one.
