Our Dining Services Director, Legacy Neighborhood Director, and Life Enrichment Director had the wonderful opportunity to join fellow DSDs, LNDs, LEDs, and IL Concierges at our 3rd Quarter North Michigan Meeting held at the beautiful Seven Lakes State Park in Holly, MI.

This gathering was the perfect chance to recap SynergyFest, share best practices, and strengthen connections with peers across the region. 💬✨ The collaboration, support, and fresh ideas shared today remind us how important it is to work together as one team with one mission—to serve our residents with excellence.

🚌🐾 Happy National Assisted Living Week Safari Day!
Shelby Crossing residents went wild for Senior Day at the Detroit Zoo! From polar bear sightings to Chimps monkeying around and plenty of smiles, it was an un-fur-gettable day. 🐻‍❄️💙

Our community came alive as Country Rock with Greg Greer brought down the house once again! With his guitar, harmonica, and energy, Greg had everyone tapping their feet and singing along. 🎸🎤

💜 September is World Alzheimer’s Month 💜

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, affecting about 6% of people age 65 and older. While many believe it’s just a normal part of aging, it’s not. Alzheimer’s is a progressive disease that impacts memory, thinking, and daily life, and it touches millions of families each year.

This month, Shelby Crossing Health Campus proudly stands with the Alzheimer’s Association to raise awareness, honor those affected, and work toward a future without Alzheimer’s.
