On Tuesday, our own nurse Lana Kolstad, gave us a showing of some of the beautiful sewing and quilting projects she has done. From quilts, coats, backpacks, purses, shoes...you name it, she's made it! Resident Peggy Tsunemori, another talented lady, brought down 2 stuffed bears she made out of her late husband's coat. She also showed us a basket she weaved, with a handle made of wool stitching that she wove herself. We were all extremely impressed! Thank you ladies.

Today Paije Gianarelli brought her therapy dog Tate to the Assisted Living so the residents could visit him. Paije is teaching him how to push a button so he can "talk" with her. He is learning to ask for a treat, which she calls a "cookie". We think Tate is one smart cookie for sure! 🍪
