White Oak of Shelby, located near Cleveland Regional Medical Center, provides long term nursing care, as well as short term rehabilitation.

White Oak of Shelby is a 160 bed skilled nursing center conveniently located within a short drive from Cleveland Regional Medical Center. We provide long term nursing care, as well as short term rehabilitation in our designated rehabilitation wing. Nursing care is provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants 24-hours a day. Our interdisciplinary team develops an appropriate plan of care for each individual in coordination with the physician’s orders. The service of White Oak of Shelby is more than caring for immediate physical or medical needs. Through understanding, compassion, professionalism and respect, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each individual.

Last Thursday we went to White Oak of Shelby’s very own pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins for decorating! It was such a fun time picking and taking pictures while enjoying the wonderful weather!

Last Friday, Life Enrichment hosted our first Oscar Awards show. The residents got certificates and trophies based on their personalities (Best Smile, Most fashionable, etc.) . They enjoyed dressing up and rolling down the red carpet. Each had a star with their name on it on the floor so they enjoyed finding their name. A great time was had by everyone!

🎨💙 Our residents got into the Employee Appreciation Week fun with a colorful Tie-Dye Day! Instead of shirts, we painted the day away — creating bright and joyful art to celebrate our amazing team. 🌈🖌️

Last week we are celebrated all of White Oak of Shelby's employees! We kicked off Monday with Hawaiian Day. Our residents are loving getting to celebrate with us!

White Oak of Shelby had so much fun Friday doing Glamour shots!! Residents loved getting dressed up and taking pictures and the staff loved watching them smile!! The residents went around all day in their makeup and hair dos showing off afterward! Fun activity!!

For the 4th of July, our Activities team made up some shirts so the residents got to wear something to represent the day! We played an awesome game of volleyball to start our day and ended it with an Ice Cream Sundae social!

We traveled to Mexico last week. We had chips and salsa with Mexican drinks. Can't forget the piñata!!🪅
