BINGO STORE DAY 🤑

Our Bingo Store is one of our residents’ favorite monthly traditions! 🛍️💛

Each time a resident wins a game of bingo, they earn special “bingo money” 💵 and they take it very seriously… and proudly. 😊 At the end of each month, our Activity Director transforms the space into a fun little store, where residents get to “shop” using the money they’ve earned!

From snacks and sweet treats 🍫 to toiletries, fun goodies, and little surprises 🎁 there’s something for everyone to enjoy. But more than that, the Bingo Store helps encourage independence, decision-making, and real-life skills like budgeting and choosing what they truly want or need. 🥰

It’s such a joyful experience watching them count their money, compare items, and get excited about their purchases! This activity truly brings out smiles, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment and that’s exactly why she does this!! 🥰

We are always welcoming donations to help keep our Bingo Store stocked with fun and useful items for our residents to enjoy! If you’d like to contribute, we would be so grateful! 💕

BEAN AUCTION DAY! If you know, you know! 🥰

This is one of our residents’ absolute favorite days, and the joy it brings is truly something special. When they see it on the calendar, the countdown begins immediately—it’s just that exciting! From the laughter to the friendly “bidding,” every moment is filled with happiness.

We are so incredibly thankful for the love and generosity of our community. Each donated item helps create these meaningful, joy-filled experiences for our residents—and it truly makes a difference.

If you feel led to give, we would be so grateful for your support for our next bean auction. Donations can be dropped off anytime, and every little bit helps us continue making these days so special.

Today’s field trip to K**b Creek for ice cream was truly something special! 🍦💛

From the moment we mentioned the trip, the excitement was in the air—and before we even made it back, they were already asking when we could go again! That’s when you know it was a perfect day.

On the way home, we took a few little detours and passed by places many of our residents hadn’t seen in years. What started as a simple drive quickly turned into something so meaningful… stories started flowing, memories came rushing back, and you could just see the joy and nostalgia on their faces.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to get out, explore, and reconnect with places that hold pieces of their past. Today wasn’t just about ice cream—it was about laughter, memories, and making new moments together that we’ll all cherish. 💕

✨ FAMILY BINGO NIGHT FUN! ✨

Tonight’s Family Bingo Night was an absolute SUCCESS! 💛 The room was full of laughter, excitement, and so many smiling faces—it truly meant the world to see such a wonderful turnout!

Our residents were overjoyed to share their favorite game with the people they love most. There’s just something so special about hearing that winning “BINGO!” surrounded by family and friends 🎉

After the games, we kept the fun going with sweet treats—donuts, cookies, and brownies that made the night even sweeter 🍩🍪🍫

Moments like these are what it’s all about—bringing families together, creating memories, and filling hearts with joy. Thank you to everyone who came out and made tonight so special… we loved every second of it! 💕

☕️🚓 Coffee with Cops & Donuts! 🍩🥰

We absolutely LOVE when the Shelby Police Department comes to visit us! Today was extra special! We spoiled our community hero’s with donuts, hot coffee, and a SURPRISE early morning bingo game (police version)… which made our residents SO happy since bingo is always a crowd favorite! 😃🎉

We also had the privilege of hearing from two detectives who shared such valuable information about fraud and scams that often target senior citizens. Our residents learned how to recognize warning signs, ways to protect themselves, and what steps to take if they ever feel unsure or targeted.

We are so incredibly grateful for the time they took to come out, educate, and connect with our residents. It means so much to us to have community partners who care deeply about their safety and well-being. 💙

Thank you, Shelby Police Department, for not only keeping our community safe but for showing up, building relationships, and making mornings like this so memorable! We can’t wait for your next visit! 😊

✨ Resident Lunch Trip FUN! 🍤💛

Today was one for the books! Our residents have been counting down the days, and our trip to Big Dave’s Family Seafood did NOT disappoint! From the moment we arrived, it was smiles all around—great service, delicious food, and even better company! 🍽️✨

There is something so special about getting out, sharing a meal, and making memories together. These moments mean the world to our residents, and you could truly see the joy on their faces today. ❤️

Now the excitement continues because we are already looking forward to next week’s adventure… a sweet trip to K**b Creek for some ice cream! 🍦🎉

Outings like these are more than just trips—they’re something our residents look forward to, talk about, and cherish. As the Activity Director, I love being able to bring that joy to their days! 💕

Big THANK YOU to Rick for always being willing to tag along and help out anytime he’s needed! 🥰
