🍎🍬 Our residents had the sweetest time today making their very own caramel apples!

🍏✨ This turned out to be a new favorite activity — they got to create their own tasty treats and, of course, enjoy every bite! 😋💛 Lots of smiles, sticky fingers, and happy hearts today! 🍯🥰

We’re searching for someone dependable, caring, and professional to help safely transport our residents to and from appointments.

Details & Schedule:
🕗 Approximately 30 hours a week — averaging 6 hours a day (8AM–2PM)
⏰ Hours are flexible on days without early appointments
🌸 Perfect for a mom who drops the kids off at school and wants to work during school hours!

Requirements:
✅ Must be at least 25 years old
✅ Good driving record
✅ Clean criminal background check
✅ CPR Certified

🎃👻 Hey everyone! 👻🎃

I’m putting together treat bags for our spooky little guests joining us next week — and for our sweet residents too (because they love candy just as much! 🍬🥰).

✨We are off to a great start but still need a bit more to make this successful!! We would greatly appreciate donations of candy 🍭🍫🍬 to help make our Halloween celebration extra special at Shelby Manor!

If you’re able, please drop off a bag or two of candy — every little bit helps and means so much to our residents and kiddos! 💜🧡🖤

🍁🎃 Our FALL FESTIVAL yesterday was absolutely AMAZING! 🍂✨

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to join us — we had a packed house full of laughter, smiles, and fun! 🧡 Special shoutout to Kim and Tammy for all their help — we couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌

We played tons of games, enjoyed fun activities, and every single resident went home with prizes! 🏆🎯 We also had lots of delicious food that everyone LOVED! 🍿🥪🍰 🧀

It was such a wonderful day celebrating the season together! 🍂💛

🎃✨ What a FUN-FILLED DAY at Shelby Manor!!! ✨🎃

We kicked off the day with a super cool aluminum foil pumpkin craft 🧡🎨 — our pumpkins turned out so colorful and creative! Then we tried out a brand-new game called “Cup” 🥤👏 and ohhh did we laugh!!

To top it all off, we enjoyed some delicious RC & Cheerwine floats 🥰🍒🥤 — YUM!!

There were smiles, dancing, singing, and LOTS of laughter all around today! 💃🕺🎶
Days like this remind us how much joy and fun our residents bring to Shelby Manor! 💛😊

🎉🫘 BEAN AUCTION SUCCESS!!! 🫘🎉

When I tell you the BEAN AUCTION was a HIT… I mean IT. WAS. A. HIT!!! 🙌 I had a whole dining room full of residents ready to shop ‘til they dropped — using their beans, of course! 😄

The competition was fierce (in the best way!), and the laughter and smiles filled the room! 💕 Everyone had such a great time, and our table of goodies was overflowing thanks to all of YOU who donated and made this possible! 🥰

This was truly one of the most fun activities we’ve done — and because it was such a hit, we’re planning to do it again in December! 🎄✨

🎨 Sips & Strokes at Shelby Manor! 🧡

Our residents had the best time this afternoon painting wooden pumpkins while sipping on some delicious juice! 🍊✨ We listened to music, shared laughs, and enjoyed each other’s company. It was such a fun and relaxing time together — and we definitely discovered some amazing artists among our residents! 🎨🖌️

Today we played a sweet little game using M&M’s! 😋 Each color represented a fun question — helping us share special memories, favorite things, and little facts about one another. 💬💛

It was the perfect mix of friendly competition and heartwarming connection! 🥰🍬 Our residents had so much fun laughing, sharing stories, and of course… enjoying a few M&M’s along the way! 😉❤️💙💚
