We are thrilled to share with you our updated and improved website that includes new information and upgraded features!

Here is some of the new information/ features:
-Detailed outline of what to do when a death occurs

-Information on types of funeral services offered

-Information on pre-planning funeral arrangements with an updated form to collect information

-Merchandise page that details what we offer in house (this page is still being constructed)

Our goal in designing this new website was to offer a better platform for mobile devices and increase the ease of useability of navigating the website, while providing updated information and new features for planning arrangements.

We are aware that our website is not functioning properly. Do not be alarmed as we are in the middle of launching our new website and have been informed by our design team that migration can take anywhere from several hours to 24 hours. We hope to have the new website up and running soon!

Friends may visit at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby Friday, September 5, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home at 2:00 PM. Ed's nephew, Keith Stamper will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
