Shelby has some newer restaurants and the residents of Navion of Shelby want to try them out.This month residents wanted to try McAlister's Deli.This place has some tasty soups, clubs, sandwiches, and salads. We enjoyed the food and the time with each other.

Happy Fall Y'all. We have an array of activities this month, including trick-or-treating, a pumpkin decorating contest (for those who enjoy a little competition), decorating cookies, making soft pretzels, and visiting Grandad's in Hendersonville, in addition to all our rides and movies.

For National Coffee Day, residents of Navion of Shelby didn't have to venture far to taste different coffees from around the world at Hannah's Coffee Shop. We sat and solved world problems while eating giant cookies and sipping the warm brown elixir. Actually, we mostly discussed food but we laughed and had fun!

Our fifth and final day of our Ageless Adventure week was closer to home and at a family farm. The Pharr Farm (or Pharrm) was formerly a horse farm. We had a relaxing picnic with Alston Bridges Barbecue, chicken, hush puppies, baked beans, slaw, pecan pie, lemon ice box pie, and banana pudding! Special thanks to David and sister, Wendy, for providing us with the food and lovely location at the Pharrm!

For our fourth day of Ageless Adventure, the adventure came to us at Navion of Shelby. Friends and family were invited to join us as Circle M Livestock and Safari brought us an array of animals. Some were met with trepidation and some were opened with welcome arms. All of them were enjoyed! What's your favorite animal?

Residents and team members of Navion Shelby (ages 47-85) went indoor skydiving at Concord's iFLY We cheered one another on as we flew to new heights knocking this bucket list item off many of our lists.
