Today's Newsletter: Spontaneous Remission

Hello Wellness Community –

The Spontaneous Remission Project is a research effort focused on understanding why some people experience unexpected recoveries from serious illnesses—particularly cancer—without conventional medical explanations.

It was developed by Kelly A. Turner, a researcher who studied cases of what medicine calls spontaneous remission—situations where a disease partially or completely disappears without standard treatment, or after treatment fails.

What the project studied

Turner analyzed over 1,000 documented cases of radical remission (her preferred term). These cases often involved people diagnosed with advanced or terminal conditions who later recovered.

Key findings (patterns she identified)

Instead of claiming a single cause, the project identified common factors that appeared across many cases:

Major dietary changes (often whole, unprocessed foods)

Taking an active role in health decisions

Emotional healing (resolving trauma, stress, or suppressed feelings)

Strong social support

Deepening spiritual practices or sense of purpose

Using a mix of conventional and alternative therapies

Increased positive emotions (joy, gratitude, meaning)

Following intuition about treatment choices

Releasing fear and addressing psychological patterns

Turner summarized much of this research in the book Radical Remission, which expands on these case studies and the nine common factors she identified.

Are you facing illness? Allow me to help you identify which of the 9 paths will help you heal faster. Additionally, we can test through supplements, protocols (medical and holistic), even down to specific doctors and practitioners, type of diets that will benefit YOU the most and even situations in your life that you may need to change.

Allow kinesiology be your guide to finding health.

Hello Wellness Community –

There’s a pattern I’ve seen over and over again in working with clients—and it lines up closely with what Dr. Gabor Maté describes in the book When the Body Says No.

It doesn’t usually start with illness. It starts much earlier, and much quieter.

It starts with people who are good. Responsible. Caring. The ones others rely on.
The ones who don’t want to disappoint anyone.

Over time, something subtle happens.

They override their own signals:
“I’m tired.”
“I don’t want to do this.”
“This doesn’t feel right.”

Instead of honoring those signals, they push through them.

Not because they’re weak—but because somewhere along the way, they learned that being accepted, loved, or safe meant putting themselves second.

At first, the cost is small. A little stress. A little tension. Maybe some fatigue that never quite goes away.

But the body keeps track.

When emotions aren’t expressed, they don’t disappear—they shift.

They show up as:

Tightness in the chest

Digestive issues

Chronic fatigue

Autoimmune patterns

Persistent anxiety or overwhelm

Not randomly. Not “out of nowhere.” But as accumulated, unprocessed stress.

One of the most consistent patterns Maté points out—and one I see as well—is this: People who struggle to say no often have bodies that eventually say it for them. And when the body says no, it’s usually not subtle.

This isn’t about blame. It’s about awareness.

Because once you can see the pattern, you can begin to change it.
So what does that actually look like in real life?

It starts simply.

Not with big, dramatic changes—
but with small moments of honesty:

Noticing when something feels off

Acknowledging what you actually feel (even if you don’t act on it yet)

Recognizing where you’re overextending yourself

Allowing discomfort instead of automatically smoothing things over

And gradually:

Learning that “no” is not rejection. It’s information. It’s a boundary. It’s a form of self-respect.
