Job Definition for Contract Therapist: Must care about people and have a postive attitude. Licensed or provisionally licensed (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT) therapist
needed for part time/full time outpatient therapy position working with adults, children, couples and
adolescents in office and school setting. Must use office EMR system and phone when reaching out to
consumers. Other communication (email) must be company issued email address.
Services include, but are not limited to, the following services:
Individual counseling and support to occur mainly from 9 am-5 pm
Family counseling, training or support, to occur before or after 9 am-5 pm
Initial intake, Diagnosis, Treatment planning, Progress Notes and Comprehensive Clinical Assessment
Case management and care coordination required to include: Attendance at school-based MH meetings,
and regular communication with school personnel, teachers, and school counselors, other duties as
assigned
School or office-based sessions (Telehealth) depending on needs of families and clients served
Electronic documentation submitted within 24 hours of services rendered with correct billing code used
for the service provided.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree in human service related field
Provisional or full licensure as one of the following: LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT.
Providing mental health services to children, adults and adolescents.
Competency with couple’s, individual and family therapy.
Credentialed with Partners Behavioral Health and Vaya Behavioral Health. Blue Cross Blue Shield other
credentialing preferred, but not required.
If you need to be credentialed, it is recommended that you will need to complete your one year
contract, but if you resign or are terminated before your contract ends you will be responsible for paying
$200 for credentialing fee.
Registered In NCTRACK.
Professional Liability Insurance (Provided by LDH Counseling and Consulting, PLLC).
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Previous training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Familiarity with working with adults, children and adolescents. Previous experience as a contract
therapist.
Location: This position is primarily in office and school based. No community-based services are
allowed.
