I strive to know you, your body and your goals so I can help you live your life to the fullest! I became a PT because I wanted to help people and change their lives for the better. I believe the Lord made our bodies to move and move well! My desire is to serve others with high quality one-on-one care while offering flexible scheduling times and locations. When I am not treating patients, I enjoy swing dancing, Crossfit, yoga, hiking/kayaking, playing the piano and traveling, as well as being involved in my church. ➡️ Guess where Dr. Whitney has been this week! TOKYO!! 🤩 She has been attending the World Physiotherapy Congress 2025!

➡️ This is an international event where physical therapists from all around the world gather to learn, present research and connect. 🤓

➡️ Did you know Dr. Whitney is adjunct faculty with A. T. Still University - Arizona School of Health Sciences? She teaches online courses with the DPT program and had a great opportunity to attend this event!

➡️ One of the best parts of being a PT is getting to work with people who have all different backgrounds, occupations and hobbies. 🤓🤗 No two patients are the same. A part of our job is to keep these things in mind as we tailor our treatment approach towards these things.

➡️ Did you know PT’s and PTA’s have to keep up regularly with license renewal and the current laws of our practice act to continue practicing?? 🤔

➡️ Each state in the US has a designated board of physical therapy who require proof of continuing education, proof of jurisprudence (laws) exam and proof of licensure renewal.

➡️ This ensures that all PT’s currently practicing are keeping up to date on current laws pertaining to rehab and staying on top of education. 👍🏼 ✅
