"So often in our line of work within the community we serve; su***de is unfortunately often utilized as an escape from our pain. Su***de is something that hits home with me as I overcame 4 su***de attempts at the age of 19 and have had 5 family members commit su***de.

I am proud to say I have successfully maintained my mental health recovery since those years. Every day is a healing journey. With that being said, always remember that you are worth fighting for. You each have a purpose and you each matter. YOU ARE ENOUGH. You are valuable and important. Never lose sight of how special you are. Even if you are feeling broken at this time; BROKEN CRAYONS STILL COLOR. 🖍️🫶
